I just skimmed thorugh "Bookcrossing" looks very interesting. No, I had never heard of it before you mentioned it.

I noticed the weather was quite bad over there, hope it improves fast.

My niece is really feeling the cold. She will be back for X'mas holidays on the 15th.

Colombo has been very quiet, even on the security front. Hope it stays that way.

My family and friends are getting geared up for Christmas. This is the time of year when a little snow will be most welcome ......... just a short burst, nothing more.

very sorry to hear about the Sri lankan cricket teams fate in Pakistan. I am, at least glad, that none of the team was too seriously injured: although i heard one of the drivers was killed-which is terrible.

I hope you are well my friend. I have been neglecting my dy duty for the boys - lucky for me the girls seem not to have organised any meaningful resistance; although i see their is some stiff opposition from the French Resistance.

Our cricketers had a miraculous escape indeed. I really don't understand what they gain, shooting people who entertain millions.

My daughter left Sri Lanka last Wednesday, to pursue her studies at The University of Monash in Malaysia. Another reason for my current gloomyness. We really miss her, it is the first time she's ever been away from us.

Of course, your valiant fighting was badly missed even if the French Resistance was somewhat sporadic.

Trust all is tickety-boo in Kent.

Yes a lucky escape, i share your views - i really cannot understand it myself: cricketers are not soldiers-they surely will be missed, if no teams play there at the moment.

I sympathize with you my friend-but also feel sure you have nothing too much to worry about, as i am certain something of you would have rubbed off on your children; and that is a good start-i wish your daughter the best of luck, Dhamitta.
