Goodbye Mister Kirby

Me hopes you will bow your head a say a small prayer for Josh Kirby, one of the best Discworld artists, who died in his sleep at the grand age of 72.
Me was very saddened to hear this news... his pictures of the characters from the Discword books by Terry Pratchett, were not only a big hit with the fans... but are on record as being the favourite drawings of the author himself... In fact Terry Pratchett admitted that he hadn't a clue what the charecters from the books looked like until Josh drew them.
He will be very much missed from the conventions... where he gave his time to be with his fans... and friends... My sypathies got to his family and close friends... my heart aches for the loss of such a great man...
He drew Greebo... and Greebo is me... Greebo brought my husband and I together... and Mr Kirby kindly signed a large print of Greebo... for us both... he was happy that somethign he drew had brought two people such happiness... It will be something for me to treasure for ever... and believe me... me will...

Enjoyment at H2G2

Hello... ~Greebo waves at reader~ me is doing something at the minute that me hasn't done for a long time at H2G2... and me is very much enjoying myself... ~grin~
What is she up to know... me hears you all ask... quick someone give her a doughnut and she'll shut up... someone from the back mutters...
What me is doing... is browsing the guide... looking into things that seem interesting... making comments here... eating doughnuts there... ~grin~... ohhhh tis such fun at times just to take your time and look... Why not give it a go yourself... see who and what you find... click on links... and then click on links on the page you come across... like a paper chase... but instead a h2g2 chase...
Better go now... just found an interesting page on.........

Me has been having trouble with my computer for several weeks now... silly thing... a man from PC World is coming out tonight to yet again take a look at whats wrong... this will be his third visit... ~grin~... me is a little anxious that this time he might depart with my darling computer clutched under his arm...
If me disappears again frmo H2G2... it will be from lack of internet access... hell... lack of computer access is more like it... so remember folks...

Where's the burn?

Me is exercising... twice a week... with a personal trainer... whose name is Caroline... and is very nice... me likes her lots... ~Greebo waves to Caroline~ Me does that jumping up and down and running on the spot and puffing exercises... and me does weight training... ~Greebo shows off her muscles...~
Oh alright they are not huge... but me working on them... and will soon look like Arnold Schwarzenegger... ~grin~ Me will be back!!!
Me excercises twice a week for usually an hour... and though Caroline is wonderful... me is still to feel the 'high' she says comes with exercising... Maybe me not into all this physical stuff... me not know... but me just doesn't enjoy it...
Me watched that tv program that was on the ...er... tv... (wow surprise there)... and they were all talking about this 'high' they got from exercising... and me just doesn't understand... ~Greebo shakes her head~
Me is genetically lazy... me knows this... do you think that some people are more inclinded to be slothful than others... is it something that we are born with???
Me is a good cat... and valiently do all things that me is asked to do... me is looking better... fitter... sexier... ~wink~ ... but me just don't get IT...
Oh well... me supposes me is forever destined to never feel the burn... maybe you can fake it like orgasms... not that me would do this... oh no... dirty things... shouldn't be allowed in the house... ~slight grin~
What is your opinion fellow researcher? Have you felt the burn? Is it worth all the hassle?

Cats on holiday

Hiya peeps...
Me away next week... from Saturday 28th July to around about Monday 6th August... Me going to Melton Mowbray for a week... my good friend Chloe should have her pups... and me going to give her moral support... ~grin~
Me was not sure if me should start betting on how many pups she will have... she is big enough to have at least 15 me thinks... but then me not medically minded... ~bigger grin~
