Hi Greebo!
I knew that would grab your attention
I'm stuck here waiting for Phillips to turn up to replace my monitor. This is frustrating as I have started decorating the kitchen in readiness for the new stuff (some of which is already scattered around our room). I need gloss paint and tile paint and I daren't leave the house.
Picture the scene: Old cupboards strewn around the balcony, boxes of food, crockery and electrical equipment all over the floor, plastic dustsheets covering almost all the surface area of the kitchen (thank goodness I can still get to a kettle!). Me sitting here wanting to get on and not being able to! Maybe I should carry on painting the ceiling, but then I'd have to move all the boxes around again.

Anyway - Phillips should turn up either today or tomorrow, so I should have my compie back
I'm still having trouble with the Post email - 2 quiz entries turned up with no body again
I think we better revert to out own emails until Pastey has more time to pinpoint the problem, don't you?
I have received a DD article, but I have a horrible feeling it was for last week! It seems to have taken at least 4 days to arrive.
How go things your end?

Hi Shazz... ~grin~
DD resent an article for last weeks post ... but it arrived to late for inclusion... me doesn't think he was happy about resending it... me did say in a conversation that we would include it in this weeks...
Not a lot happening this end me afraid... bit sad really.. ~grin~ Not really getting any interest in the Post Top Ten... not sure if we should keep it running after this week... only got two entries... and that hardly makes for a overall voting figure... ~sad grin~
Had a thought about running a spot the difference comp... will have to talk to you about it...
Hmm... poor Kolin has been poorly... she had to go to the vet on Sunday morning... she will have to go out to work now to pay for her vets bills... just under £80 so far... plus she may have to go back tonight if she doesn't improve.... silly girl...
hugs... Greebs..xx

Awwww
Poor Kolin I hope she gets better soon.
I also have an idea for a new competition - based on a certain announcement made last week.
Still no sign of the Phillips men - but TM is here today - ostensibly to help with the decorating but he's still in bed atm (Imagine a whole heap of exclamayion marks here), so he can put a bomb under them later hopefully.
I have radiator and tile paint now, so the kitchen is starting to shape up rather well. I have a headache this morning, I guess all the gloss paint smell is getting to me eh?
Good news - I have last week's and this week's footie results through from Egon, so we can run both those this week (with apologies from me for tying them up in my download file last week!
Is anyone going to tackle Wimbeldon for us do you know? Tim made rather a meal of it yesterday didn't he - and Greg is also giving us a hard time!

Interesting eh?
I have half a kitchen fitted now Greebs! Guess what the neighbour did though - she couldn't be bothered to clean the oven, so she just stuck a can of Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner in it! That is my task for today and I can hardly breathe atm!
Still, at least I finally have light in there now - it's only taken 2 years to get! LOL

my mum discovered by acident that it's easier to clean the oven if it's a bit warm.
but check your oven cleaner first to make sure it doesnt get denatured by heat or something because you could end up striping all the coating off

This one definitely has to be applied to a cold oven - and I have no choice atm, because we are waiting for a nice man to come and connect it up to a higher voltage than we have. Most Dutch households run on 220 volts, but this needs 240, just like in the UK.
Guess who's still living on take-aways and microwave meals.

Good, good!
Not 4 days late or nothing then.
I have taken to sending myself a copy now as these teething problems are really hard to cope with especially 45 words.

The 'contribute' seems to be working fine, but the PO email if def offline for the moment. Safest for you to send them to me (and possibly Greebo if you are really worried)
