I have to say upon reading some of your
contributions to the 'change one letter'
thread that I have underestimated your
imagination.

Some very creative postings.


My only posting to that thread was a state of
shock and awe at how quickly and brilliantly
the thread was piling up. Hoo, MuBeta, swl,
Mr603 and yourself were in top form. A very
enjoyable thread.

I will never question your creativity again.


But you still have the testosterone of a 30
something gamer and your approach when you
confront or challenge me on some of the finer
points is less than kind, less than civil and
less than wise by my standards. So expect no
quarter young warrior.

Well, *duh*.

But not necessarily that kind of gaming. I enjoy a good video game but cannot fathom the attraction of agressively blokeish and above all *competitive* video gaming. I prefer my tools to be pencil, paper and dice. Or full costume in the middle of the forest (and when you've successfully suspended disbelief at 1am on a damp Sunday with the mercury threatening to dip below freezing you have definitely given your imagination a true run for its money).

My imagination is contrasted with an immense practicality of mind which means I sometimes have little patience for wordplay and other 'buggering about' in regular conversation.

But thank ewe for extending this olive branch to me. I apologise that my posts of late have been possessed of a little more bile than normal. It's a side effect of unemployment, a state I don't deal with particularly well, and when I'm not in the best frame of mind I can lash out a bit.

I shall try to be more measured in my dealings with you because I do pride myself on my manners and I've definitely let those slip, but rest assured I will always maintain my 'question everything, especially stuff without a whole lot of science behind it' approach to debate.
