Mr. D, on your list of researchers you've met in person, I notice you have omitted Mrs. D. I expected her to be at the top of the list.
Actually, I like the idea of the list. I may steal it for my PS. I think your list is longer than mine. Must make a list (which will include Mrs. D) and count names.
If I do make a list and it becomes a contest between us, then you will be forced to attend the Presidential Meet or be blown out of the water.

I kinda figured that my having met Mrs. D would go without saying...
Steal away, and may the contest begin!

26 names on my list!
Of course, you are in a much better position to add names on a regular basis than I am. But the meet will definitely up the numbers. I wonder which researcher has met the most other researchers? It would have to be someone who attends the London meets, I'd imagine.

23 on my list...
Mrs. D and Julie S make 25 and I'll go through teh London Meet attendees to see who I've missed off that.

I forgot to add Lady C and Lordjkhan! So that makes 28 for me.

Having double-checked and wracked my brains I'm now up to 30... there are at least three more but I can't for the life of me remember who they are.

I even feel a bit guilty about including Lady C and Lordjkhan. But they have actual U numbers and Lady C posts. Lordjkhan is mostly a lurker.

I think the best way to do it is that if they've got a U number and have posted at least twice they count (for example I couldn't include J & L on my list because while they've both signed up neither of them have ever posted).

I forgot thelostgeographer! He was friendlywithteeth in those days. How could I forget him. He was my very first friend on h2g2. I met him when I was in Leeds.
