Jamaica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted Apr 3, 2004
Well, am just a little bit excited to realise that in four days time I will be in Jamaica!
All I need now is a quick miraculous weight-loss to transform me into someone who's confident in that bikini or cossie.
Never mind, I think I'll still go - Rum, seafood, cocktail, repeat.Rum, seafood, cocktail, repeat.Rum, seafood, cocktail, repeat.
Yipee!!!!

Peter Ustinov

I was shocked to hear that the great Peter has passed away. What a wide-ranging talent, exceeding astute and funny man and a caring ambassador.
I was priveledged to receive my degree from him at Durham, where he was chancellor.
A sad day but I know he will be remembered fondly.

Spring!
Have been off sick for a couple of days and in that time the tree outside the window has firstly got white buds, which have turned to yellow already - mmm. My tulips are out and all is well with the world, sorry, I mean with the garden. The world is a whole other matter...

First Journal Entry
Posted Mar 16, 2004
Well, here goes, just so I don't have a boring gap on my page....but what to say?! (Boring gaps are probably fine too). A week of festivities to come, well firstly I suppose I should be celebrating the fact that broadband has come to my humble abode. Then tomorrow is spouse's birthday and on saturday our wedding anniversary. So it's glad-rags and stuff all round. Hmm - very diary-like and nothing to discuss at all.Ooh I know - anyone been to Jamaica?!! (there is a reason for this question) no the reason is not chocolate, there must simply always be chocolate, it's important.
