h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I was shocked to hear that the great Peter has passed away. What a wide-ranging talent, exceeding astute and funny man and a caring ambassador.
I was priveledged to receive my degree from him at Durham, where he was chancellor.
A sad day but I know he will be remembered fondly.

My most favourite thing he did was the Walt Disney film "Blackbeard's Ghost"



I gotta find that film on video and watch it again.

I even own the L.P. record!
