I had an idea...
Some enterprising thingite has started a thead called the Thingite Embassy.
Well what if we broadened that out into a complete Guide Entry.
The Embassy could then have multiple threads, like Consulat, Ambassdors office, immigration control, I'm just thinking aloud, mind - but I could easily link to The Embassy page from the manifesto and it could become the first port of call for those wishing to register as Thingites.
You said before about how the tag has made collecting names for the Roster much easier - what if I were to code a dedicated page - the guestbook on the manifesto could be made to link to it. that's easy - and we can have additional on the Embassy page - meaning all applications will be collected in ONE place for you and won't be mixed in with the Manifesto backlog of forums.
What that work better for you or would you rather leave thigns as they are?
I've not made my mind up at all so I'm merely asking 'cos its an idea.
Lemme know what you think.
Clive.

I think it's a great idea ... and not just to make my life easier, but it's always nice to branch out.
It must be satisfying for you to see the Manifesto page still up there on the homepage in the top 5 list. Whoda thunk?
