I thought I had replied to this one Shea. Sorry. You would'nt like summer one little bit here Girl. Hot and Humid. From somewhere in the middle of May until past Septenber sometimes. It's Miserable Lass. Trust me.
Hey Shea.
Shea the Sarcastic Posted May 9, 2005
Oh, I trust you. My husband just mentioned that the weather's very different on Long Island, and that the ocean tends to make it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Ain't we lucky?
Hey Shea.
The Sundance Kid(Captain of the Good Ship Necromancer)If Life Gives You Manure, Use it to Fertilize your Garden Posted May 11, 2005
Yeah you are. Her the humidity make it feel hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. Not to mention it is a bad cause for sinus problems. I should move to Arizona.

No one beats the Ice Tea We have here in the south Lass. It's known as Southern House Wine. Course I'm sure you can get tea anywhere. The trick is the amout of sugar you put in it. To much and I'd go in yo a sugar overload. I'm not diabetic, I just never been one for something that is too sweet, I even like my Women Tart. hahahahahahahaha Not a tart mind you now.
Hey Shea.

I'm not a tea or iced tea fan, actually. Everyone around here seems to drink Arizona iced tea in a big, green bottle.
Of course, I've heard a Long Island iced tea is pretty ... interesting ...

You're Right on the Long Island Tea Toots. I've had one. You would'nt even think there was a hint og alcohol it it until 10 or 15 minutes after you downed a glass of it. hahahahahahaha

My landlords in my last apartment lived in the downstairs of the house, and both were *very* good at making drinks like that! I'd never know how I was until I got up to *try* to stumble up the stairs!

Sorry I've been gone for a while. I've gotten a new job, where I'm traveling around the country, putting up tents and temporary stalls at horse shows. I'll be online more often soon. I plan to get one of those Verison ineternet thingies you can access the web going down thew rode with one of those.
How have you been?
Hey Shea.
Shea the Sarcastic Posted Jun 28, 2005
I've been lately, but okay ... other than this bug I can't kick.
How are you enjoying traveling around? My husband did it for a while, and really loved getting to see the country!
Last night I went to the awards dinner for the New York Press Club in NYC. Unfortunately, it was very humid and hazy, so not much fun sitting by the water sipping ! I was lucky enough to win an art award though, so it was worth having to sit through the boring old white men making speeches before they gave out the awards.

Sorry I have'nt writen in a while. I have purchaced a shiney new laptop. So now I'll be in touch more often.
Yes I love seeing the countryside. I love the moutains best. I've been to Washington D.C., also I've been to Saugerties NY. 100 miles north of the city. That place bored me though. It was a quaint little town though. So far we have stayed on the east coast and mid west. Come November we'll be going to Las Vegas and California. We'll be staying in Cali for 5 months I'm going to love that.
Well I got to go to work.

Yes, upstate New York is beautiful, but can be on the boring side. My folks lived in the Adirondacks for a while, and it was a nice place to visit, but not so great living there!
I'm going to see Vegas one of these days. Why are you going to be in Calif. for 5 months? Where in Calif.?
Hey Shea.

Well we have a large horse show in a place called Indio, it's not far from LA. I plan to visit there whilst we are in Indio. I really don't know why we are going to be there that long, but I won't mind it. I have'nt seen CA since my days in the Marines. So it's going to be a treat. Presently I'm in Virgina. There's some nice mountains around here. We are not far from DC again.
Hey Shea.

I like Virginia! I've got friends in the north fairly close to D.C., and relatives in the Virginia Beach area. I think I prefer Virginian winters to New York ones!

Well like it further south in the winter. Like Florida perhaps.

I hate the umidity as well, but I'm use to it. So I can live with it.
I might have a change in plans on Florida.I can't be sure yet.
