Temperatures here are round 35-40 degrees Centigrade!!!

though i've been to Romania in their summer and it;s been that sort of temperature and i couldn't stick it for long.

I've grown up with ridiculously hot weather, so I'm used to it. I'd never live too long in 4 degrees though!

somwhere in between would be nice i think. not too hot and not too cold. does it ever snow in south africa?

Believe it or not, it does! Up high on the mountains of course, but sometimes in winter it snows in Nottingham Road (that's an area about an hour's drive from me, not just one road!)

We've had hail storms so bad before though, that it's left the place looking like snow.

Wouldn't have thought it. Always thought South Africa was always warm and sunny. It was snowing here yesterday and we'd a white Christmas and it was hail earlier a bit too. It's been so so cold for days.

You had a white Christmas?! That must've been amazing! I'd give anything for that! I'm tired of having hot sweaty Christmasses where it's 40 degrees!

The snow, by the way, is very rare. Very, very rare. I can count on both hands how many times it has happened in my lifetime!

Well if you ever get the chance to come to this hemisphere you should jump at it. It was lovely with the snow on Christmas Day. but it was so cold. I grew up in this country so you'd think I'd be used to the temperature.

I know how you feel!

I'm not good with temperature extremes. Can't stand being cold, but can't stanfd being too hot either. Like that nice comfy in-between.

If only we had that more often!

I know! Is there a place on the entire planet that has comfortable temperatures all year round?

If I knew, I'd be pricing plane tickets by now!

On a thought, you may like South Africa in winter. For us we find it REALLY cold (coz we're so used to heat), but for you guys, days with temperatures between 12 and 20 degrees may be just fine!

12-20 degrees sounds lovely. Our summer only gets that on sheer fluke.
