In some circles, I am probably seen as a heathen ... I don't ascribe or follow ANY sport particularly faithfully. I once was quite a fan of hockey and baseball, but then I began to work each summer. About 12 years old or so. Sports pretty much fell by the wayside then, and I've never taken the time to get back in to anything.

I like my sports - the ones I do of course. Otherwise I've never been much of a person to park off in front of the telly just watching sport.

Some of the lads that I work with will spend 5 or 8 hours on a gold course, on a Saturday. And then watch the same number of hours of the stuff on TV. THAT 'sport' has to be the best cure for insomnia I have ever heard of.

I don't think a high IQ is a requirement for the "sport" ... Every year, several fools on this continent learn that swinging metal sticks, during a thunder and lightning storm, is simply NOT a good idea.
