Why, what happened?

Just a blend of age-factors and radical weather changes. I have several joints and body-regions reporting in this morning, and they are not happy. Arthritis, bursitis and old injuries are NOT good companions some days.

They've declared it a heat wave here. Temperature's been up at 36 degrees C for the past week, and when you add te humidity level we're having, it pushes the temps well up into the upper forties!
Damn I wish I was on the beach!

After today's snow, freezing rain, and then the resulting slush, ... Even I would appreciate a beach.

Ok, it's starting to get a little bit ridiculous here. The temp topped at 48 degrees C here yesterday. I decided to venture out into the garden for a bit, hardly got out the door and I melted. They scraped me off the ground and poured me back into a body mould.
Normally I thrive in that kind of heat, but I think I'm getting used to the hospital aircon too much!

Probably a good thing too. Saves you buying a whole new ward-robe.

That is such an old and common joke around some work-places. "What would you do if you woke with ?" The usual answer is that a lad would be busy playing for hours, and get nothing done.

Seriously though, my family was so poor when I was growing up that if I wasn't a boy I wouldn't have had any toys to play with.

So how's stuff today? Have ye tried another foray into the great outdoors? A lady-friend 'down-under' was talking temps of 48C there yesterday.
