I see that our little thread keeps slipping waaaaaay down, and lost. So I thought I'd open a new one.

So with this imminent move, have you got internet lined up as well? You must keep us apprised as to the new digs, haunts and general stuff.

I hope I get internet... They've run out of adsl lines in the area where I'm staying though...I never thought that was possible...

As I understand it, DSL is handled at the telephone switch building by "modules". I'd guess 32, 64 or 128 connections per module. So if the last one is filled up, and they haven't the resources to install another ... It can be a time before new customers can tie in.

We are a pretty small'ish city/town (Trenton, Ontario) and the phone set-up is kinda limited. SO there have been people that had to wait. I think I was the 2nd or 3rd one hooked up, once we finally got it.

Didn't you ever wonder, when watching American TV, why nobody was standing on their heads? You'd think that's something you would notice.

I used to put the TV upside-down.

Didn't all the little people tumble about though? And what about all that breakfast cereal that the ideal families seemed to live on? It's slop all over.

Damn, ... I missed that day of physics class, ... Had a head-cold I think. I knew I should have had someone take notes for me.

Going alright so far... Not SO busy at least.

That explains a bit of relaxing time on The Grande Hootoo then. My 'official' day doesn't begin for half an hour yet, so I'm just browsing the news on-line, to see how the world got on without me over-night.
