Ok. Got up early today to do some heavy lifting and after I was up I thought I should do it more often, then there's more of the day to enjoy.

Heavy lifting of what?

Chairs, staging blocks, rolled up carpets and long benches to be precise. It takes a long time and is really boring. We got a free lunch though which was gooood!

You guys doing a play or something?

I'm not, it was at my old school after their spring concert and my dad employed me and my brother to help clear away afterwards.

Ah that's good for some quick cash.

It was, especially at 6 quid an hour (quid=pound).

Ok, I've got no clue how much that works out to here or whether that's a good rate or not, so I'll just smile and nod yeah?

It's good I'm told, minimum wage is something between 3 and 4 quid.
And when is smiling and nodding not a good idea?
