Unfort eyesight was not all down to drinking! Some of it was because I wasn't used to sunbathing without sunglasses so they got badly burned! are worn all the time now. My friend thought it was hilarious! Luckily some cucumber patches brought them under control, but it didn't help with my tomato face. I did go a pale shade of brown in the end, a first! Usually I go red, peel and go back to milk bottle white.

Ouch... Like a friend of mine on that score, he tends to burn, go lobster red and then back to alabaster white ... Like I said I have been lucky on that score, but then because I don't need to use suntan lotion will I be worse off in the long run????

indeed! Simba says Hi, he's lay on my knee as I type btw. Nope not gonna go into lecture mode on sun safety. *Simba changes positon, claws in legs as he stretches , tail up nose thanks Simba! settles down again* Don't you just love em?

Well thank you for the non-lecture... I had enough of them at Uni . I am stuck in work now on my last day in before my holiday so can't wait until the day is done . Ouch, the old claws in the leg routine, must admit that is one of the reason I do prefer the dog in my household... I am allergic to cat scratches and they swell up and go red whenever I get scratched.... Worst was when I was defleaing the cat and ended up with plenty of paralell lines of scratches up my arms....

you're welcome, I'm soooo looking forward to having them in Sept, my brains have gotten a bit flabby again with having a year out as I contemplate the workout I'll be getting. Ouch! you poor thing! They can sting a bit can't they? Will have to deflea Simba again this week so I know what fun that's gonna be!

Especially as the cats hate defleaing for some reason? All we had to do was shake the can and the cats did a runner

Toughest thing to a year out is getting back into that studing mentallity and I hope you get back into the groove of it as quickly as possible when you go back....

Have you tried spot on treatments? I use them on Simba to good effect (when I don't miss a dose!.) I hate doing it on my own as it's hard to put them on him whilst pinning him down at the same though, not sure how effective they are in comparison to sprays. Well would you like someone shaking a can at you if you knew what was coming? Must admit Simba goes hiding under the sofa and gives me evil looks when I do him.

As for the study bit and getting into the groove, I've got Madonna in my head now!

You obviously got through the shift then I think I'm gonna find it one hell of a shock whan I have to eventually go back to work (in some form or other) but until then I'll continue to enjoy my days of freedom ....lol.
