We've crossed paths, and llama spittle here, there and everywhere. And I know you're a pretty good friend of Lil/Chris, which speaks volumes by itself.
Would you mind if I added you to my friends listing? Maybe share a thought or two as the days of hootoo get slow? My PS is simple but pretty much says what I am. And yeah, I'm muuuuuch older than you as well.
Either way, have a great one, friend.
*I know you're Pete, and I mentioned at Bel's party that I'm Nick when not bra-tending*

No worries there Nick - well Lil/Chris has told me a little about yourself (you live in Canada if I remember right) but I have no problems at all with you adding my name to your friends list and thank you for asking... More than I did with Lil... and I hope you don't mind if I have added your name to mine.
Well at the end of the day what is age. I am quite serious minded for my age and count a lot of older people amongst my friends.
I am always open for chats mate and I can talk about almost anything... So just hit me back when you want....

We're in the middle of a 3-day weekend which, for wifey and I, means paint and other odd refurbishments to a house we bought 4 years ago. Oh yay.
Thanks for the 'list' bit and you're welcome to whatever threads, chats, etc I'm involved in.
I went from 17 to 30 in a week when I joined the military and so know the "comfortable with everyone" mode.
So, another day, we'll gab a bit.

Flamestrike Posted May 23, 2004
Yep another day, yet a learning curve each day... Never wanted to join the army myself too much of a pacifist and I care too much to even considor being trianed to hurt anyone. But I do realise the importance and I am not anti-war.. Just anti-war for the wrong reasons...
Refurbishments - just decorating or any serious work involved to keep everything ship shape?

Just generally changing bits to suit our taste. The place was very well-build and maintained over the years. So some paint here, different carpeting there, a few new flower-beds in the 1/5th acre yard. More-fun-than-needed stuff.
Must get the day going. Chat later, I hope.

, hadda dig deep to find this thread. How you doing, Pete?
I just finished the lawns and literally stink. Oh yay,
Just want to go soft for a bit and say I fully understand why Chris holds you in such high reguard. You have the humour, spirit and stick-up-for-them attitudes of the ideal big brother. Except for the occassional virus, you probably sleep pretty good at night. Unlike some flaming idiots that shall remain nameless. And I'm proud to be able to call you friend.
Now, tough manly-man-like, let's go score some chicks! Oh, , I'm married. Well, ya know what I mean.
Enjoy the rest of your day and don't forget Muffin's vitamins. He gets irregular without 'em.

Flamestrike Posted May 27, 2004
well I must admit that is a tough commentry to follow on from and I was just doing what I used to do when I came across idiots online like that. Though I used to be better at it and wish I could have done more...
Thank you seriously... but I am someone who cares and that is all it comes from.
I do don't worry and if I find two I will bag one for ya *lmao*....
Don't worry about Muffin he is being looked after in another thread *lol*....

Chris researched the source of the radio commentator, '40s or '50s that used to sign off with TTFN.
To me, it's all 'until later, friend'
