So you have laid-in an amazing quantity of tobacco product then, I suppose? Still, best wishes there friend.
After working the long weekend, are you know off for a couple of days?

Aren't you just so very lucky.
I don't miss the shift-work at all. Or the uniform. Now I do my monday to friday, 7:30 to 4:00 and then home. No worries about on-call tech over-night, call-outs for local or national emergencies, etc. Only a little bit miss the feeling of being part of something as large as national defence though. After a very few years, it becomes part of your nature. Imagine after 21 years?

Who knows - my family history can only be traced back 130 years and the only canadian relatives I know of married into the family after I was born

Hmmm, first of my line got to Canada, perhaps by way of the US, about 1850. Before that, the only record is from local census calling them Prussian. At that time, that was a LOT of territory.

Hey, ya can always complain, but so many others are too, who would hear ya? There, that's my last 'inspirational' bit for today.
So what hours are your later-shift anywho? 4 to midnight?
