I have read some Madeleine L'Engle books, recentl. I really liked 'An Acceptable Time'.

Mary Stewart is another of my favorite authors.

I never read Mary Stewart. It rings a bell as perhaps being one of those authors that I've seen around at, say, Goodwill (or other such thrifty places) but don't know anything about her stuff.

Ok... I'm going to really tax my memories capacities here. I'm thinking that if you're who I think you are, you live(d) in the southern part of the US and we had a Harry Potter arguement once. I'm pretty sure that is accurate.

And assuming the above statement is true I'd just like to say "You were 100% correct and I was entirely wrong."

Mary Stewart wrote 'The Crystal Cave', 'The Hollow Hills' and 'The Last Enchantment' among many other books. I have been slowly collecting her books from ebay.

The southern state is Louisiana. Does >>>>Click over There>>> ring any bells?

I think I remember the Harry Potter discussion, was it something along the lines of whether or not it was a good idea for children to read that?

Yes, essentially I called them of the devil. Which is both funny and awkward in hindsight. Considering they are now one of my favorite reads. Which just goes to show you that ignorance is not as blissful as we might hope.

Oh, the irony... I used to have 'Ignorance is not always blissful' on my page as a forum tag.

It's been quite a while, how have you been?

Overall much better than I had been for how I remember most of my post-highschool years. I forget how vocal I was online around these parts about being depressed and just rather yucky... but it was pretty bad for several years. The past year I got myself into a good church and finally feel like I have a lot of good people around me who both care about me and think I matter, while at the same time not trying to paint a nauseatingly cheery picture of how life should be like most people do.

I still work at the same place, but I got accepted into a local university, so I'll be starting there in January. So That is absolutely horrifying. I don't handle changes very well.

I can understand how much of a difference it makes to be around the right people. It's good that you found the right people for you. *grins* (see, I remembered the no smileys bit *winks*)

Don't panic about school, just do your best.

I still work at the same place too, in a different capacity.
