This is very strange. Whoever you are, I appreceiate your comments on the Falun Gong piece. But I am mystified to know why you call yourself Chai - which is already my usual signing-off name.
Who are you? Please explain.

hiehiehie... I'm mysterious! YES!
I'm a South African twenty-something wannabe writer and researcher. The Eastern practices fascinate me because their ideas are based on inner and outer harmony. I have none of this currently, and intend to achieve it one day and overwhelm the world with my peace.
The name comes from the tea - the milky spicy hot drink with foam... It's my favourite, and a nick i've been using for about three years now. I only realised the synchronicity of your name when I posted my comment to 'Falun Gong' - but too late! The Post button had been touched and the web responded.
Why I don't have any details up is due to the recent spate of virus infections making it impossible for me to do anything on a page that takes longer than thirty seconds to download. I intend to rectify this. I'm not the mysterious type - it's too difficult to remember to be secretive.
And that's me and pretty much a lot of really useless side information.
Later!

Well well well. Three years as "Chai?"Eh? In which case you've been using it just about as long as me, as I got seriously hooked on chai in India exactly three years ago on a trip to the Mahakumbh Mela at Allahabad ( x million pilgrims all bathing in the Ganges!!!)
It was not my first trip to India, but for some reason, it was the first time I got hooked on chai.
As to your search for inner and outer harmony etc. Save yourself a lot of time (believe me, I've been at that for 35 years!) and go visit www.gangaji.org. When you've taken in what she has to say, try www.andrewcohen.org. And meditate.
Good luck.
Cheers,

There is something magical about chai... The sum of the parts is greater than the whole?
Although I have to admit that I mistakenly assumed Chai was a chinese tea.
Just a bit of clarification - it's not a search for inner and outer peace - I know where it is - it's reaching it that is an issue - I am currently battling with self-discipline.
But the real worry / problem, is the fact that I have a message that I need to get spread across the world. But I have the sneaky suspicion that I am being a little too intellectual about the whole thing.
I'll go take a look at your links (Thank you for the suggestions) and we'll see if I can achieve meditation.
Till later.
