Hello. I have a DNA journal page. This is it.

Being a lament occasioned by a dearth of imagination

Spend all day reading things, thinking things, hearing things: demand of myself some content to experiment with GuideML and what happens? Nothing, nada, not a sausage. How can it be so difficult? Amongst my friends I have a reputation1 as a wordy person, a loquacious raconteur, a veritable Ganges of thought and articulation, my conversation a liquid and slow-moving body before which mountains crumble and men feel humbled, and yet when faced with a blank textarea my fingers seize up, my brain shuts down, my muse arises from her toadstool and flits drunkenly away in search of the foul liquor that sustains her.

I am surprised. I had assumed that the quote would be somehow highlighted, emphasised; instead, nothing save a tiny indentation. Maybe you can help me, ; maybe you can't. At the end, we are all beyond help, and relying on other people now will only make the last times harder.

1I have no reputation. I don't even have a credit history or a school report.2I know very few of the sentences uttered that make humanity great and keep us from barbarism. Many people are keen on quotes, and likely possess huge collections of them in books or other storage media3. If you feel that a phrase originally thought up by someone else would cast a useful light on what you find here, you can probably find them fairly easily somehow. 3For example, a disk, or cave painting.
