How are you? Your article about organ transplants has been editied and sits at A888528. Actually it didn't need any editing, so good, it was...

Thanks! I came up with that one when I was moping about my eyeballs and how I'd like some new ones (I'm shortsighted, and it's in the way of something I want to do with my life), and then I realised that maybe in the future we'll be able to get new ones fitted, and I cheered up a bit
2020 may be a tad optimistic for it, but we can hope

I'm shortsighted too. Blind as a bat, actually! You could always get laser treatment... Wht is it you want to do?
Hey there!

I want to join the police, but they don't like people with bad eyesight It's all very strange and involved, and there's loads of legislation coming in that might help matters somewhat...
Yeah, laser's always an option I suppose - assuming it'll correct my kind of visual standard and leave me with an intact cornea!

I know what you mean. I'm very wary of messing with my eyes. I find the idea of laser treatment a tad scary.

Hi MaW
Please could you take a look at BotF for me and check the underlining thing... Tom said he's fixed it now and I've uploaded the new style sheet. How does it look for you now?
Thanks for your help. and choc!

Hey there!
MaW Posted Dec 10, 2002
Well, it's fixed on the front page, but article pages and reply forms still have the same problem I'm afraid.
Looking at the CSS file, there are still several needless :hover classes - the only one which should be necessary is a:hover, the rest are causing the problem. If only IE had better CSS support, this would never have happened...
Hey there!
Jennifer - Editor, BotF Posted Dec 11, 2002
...and *now* how is it looking? I see what you mean about all the :hover code... Tom's taken _some_ out...If it's still not right I'll start ripping them out!
Hey there!

It will be especially important when AOL's client software for Windows starts using Gecko as the rendering engine. Or if Microsoft ever support more than a tiny bit of CSS2 properly.
