Hi, MaW, Your name keeps coming up and I did not know if they were initials or a real(virtual) name.
I think that it is the latter. I have found your homepage, due to a message you posted. I am very impressed, but I feel sure that I am too "square" for you. (though probably "round" would be the more apt description!)
Nice to meet you. Ships passing in the night, as the saying goes.
Regards. AR1

Actually, it's a name initially inspired by initials... it's a fairly dull story, but suffice it to say that when I wrote MaW down for the first time I rather liked how it looked and it kind of stuck online. It is based on my real name though.

Dear MaW,
Thank you for replying to my rather quizzy remark. I did not realise that you were also a VIP. I keep putting my foot into it, but then on the other hand I think that it means I know a good homepage when I see it!!
There was also a phtograph of you (I seem to remember) so I should be able to put your face and MaW together.
I must not linger on site today as I have a lecture tonight and I have done very little work on it which is a pity.
Kind regards, AR1

Dear MaW. I think that I forgot to post my letter. Or maybe you will get two. I have just been to your home page and thoroughly enjoyed reading it. You are very good at maths and graphics. I have been trying to make my number into 42. I managed to extract 21 and then decided to multiply it by 2. I wonder if that is allowed as there is no 2 over at that stage.
One of my nephews lives very near the source of the Cam. A tiny little trickle which comes out of the ground, but grows very quickly. Kind regards. AR1

I didn't do the maths... look at the page more closely and you'll see I had help.
If there's no two, you can't use one to multiply by... sorry!
And no, I'm not good at graphics. I just get lucky sometimes.

Thanks for the advice dear Ma W,
We have had a super day - went to Maidstone for pottery and there were such traffic jams that we took one and a half hours to get there. Horrd. I thought my car would boil up.
I shall just have to forget the 42, or try something else.
Regards AR1

Trouble is mine is slowing down - sad but true.
am off to bed to help the dear little grey cells recover their vitality.! And dream that I am active and swimming in a beatufil warm sea with waves which I can float on and be gently lifted up and down. There is no feeling like it. Is dreaming virtual life? Fortunately my dreams are very seldom RL - they are always great fun - when I can remember them!

If you have the patience to learn lucid dreaming, they can be very much like virtual life. I've managed it a couple of times, great fun! Although real life is still pretty cool.
