Given the artistes you list here, MaW, you really ought to check out June Tabor. She and Maddy Prior collaborated in the seventies under the name of the Silly Sisters, but I'm not sure if the album (I think there was only one) is still available. Ms Tabor's solo efforts *are* available.

So that's who the other Silly Sister was... thanks, I shall have to go and investigate her... just as long as Maddy goes on tour soon! Have you heard about the talks to reunite most of the original Steeleye Span lineup?

No, I was never a *huge* fan of Maddy Prior or Steeleye Span. I liked (and continue to like) folk music, but there's just so much good music out there, of all types.... I heard the Silly Sisters album (BTW, Amazon list three of their albums) when it first came out, but I haven't heard it since.
I'm still struggling to replace my old LPs on CD, after a personal financial tragedy forced the sale of my guitar, Linn Sondek and (LP) music collection.
You have a very old head on your shoulders for a 20 year old, MaW. I find it quite fascinating that we agree on so much when we're from different generations! [I'm easily old enough to be your Dad....]

Thankyou! I like to try and not behave like a typical young male idiot, because that kind of life just doesn't appeal in the slightest.
