Hi guys!
I'm really tired and I've had a bit too much "Old Peculiar" tonight on an empty stomach so I am a little tipsy , so I don't have very much to say except Revision sucks and I'm not very happy - so there!
Now I'm off to find me some chocolate. See you later
PS My life story consists of being born, going to school, going to uni, and...erm...that's it. *sigh*

Possom, you lucky person, you! Old Peculiar! Yum! Gosh, it's been years since I've had some of that particular peculiar...
I don't suppose you remember the sketch in "Spitting Image" involving a likeness of Princess Margaret who used to pop up from behind a sofa, drunk and say "Theakston's Old Peculiar!", wave a glass around and fall down, out of site...
I'm doing a bit of swatting myself this week for a written test on my college course (if I can remember how to write without a keyboard)!
I liked school, Timelord, but I wouldn't go as far to say they were the happiest days of my life... Okay, I had very few responsibilities but I also had a lot of confusing stuff going on, such as growing up... Mind you, at age 42, I still don't feel at all grown up yet...

live begins at forty well someone said you had the mental age of a two year old.
Sorry but i could not stop myself.
I look back at school and think that i had a few good friends that i never see now a few regrets about what i should have done but never did but all in all they were good times i do still see some friends from school.

I lost touch with most of my peers when I married and moved away although I still exchange Christmas cards, etc with three girl friends who I grew up with. Only yesterday, I was telling my daughter how I wished I'd kept in touch with some of my old school friends and often wonder what they're doing now...
I don't know who invented the expression that life begins at forty, but I'd like to punch his eyes out for lying! It's more like "Things start falling apart and dropping off at 40!" *Wanders off to rub her arthrictic joints and polish her Zimmer frame...*

"Things start falling apart and dropping off at 40!"
Oh no! I was 40 yesterday.
*does a quick fin count*
All still there. Phew! Have a chocolate.

Its OK thank you dearie, I think I'd fall over. Is that how you got the arthritic knee? However, we could go for a cup of tea and a toasted teacake somewhere a bit quieter. Perhaps that young man would like to help. Is he your grandson? (Sorry Possum!)
*pats blue curls*
Do you like it? Now. Where did I put my cardi? Oh yes. Over there on the wheelie shopper.

Arthritic knees (both the buggers unfortunately). My GP is sending me for an x-ray and blood test as he thinks it may be rheumatoid arthritis (my thumbs and wrists have been playing up for about a year now and I've even had injections in the joints). The good news is, that he says to continue with as much exercise as I can reasonably tolerate! Now all I have to do is find the energy and time to get to the gym!!!
Possom? Grandson? Nah! He's far too nice to be family!
*Produces a china tea service and holds out a rattling cup and saucer to Coely* One lump or two dear?
