Easter Quiz...
Frizzychick Posted Jun 12, 2000
Oh dear, what a miserable sounding evening. Lovely and sunny here today - unfortunately seemed to spend all day in a traffic jam - took about an hour to get 3 miles!
Well, first day back after a week off... not much fun really. I could do with just a few more days off

Oh ho! Couldn't we all do with a few more days off, my dear! Can't wait 'til next week. Wholesome Whistler goodness for a whole weekend. I think I'll mostly sleep and play tennis (I use the term "play" in a rather loose sense, of course, since I probably suck at tennis by now).

Whistler, as in Whistler Mountain. Here's a bit of an odd take on the place:

Around August, the weather is amazingly great. Canoeing, tennis, sunning, sleeping. Too bad I don't ski.

Sounds wonderful. Can I come?
Oh, hang on... snow? It's summertime, what on earth do you want snow for? Surely there's not snow?

I'm not actually going up on the mountain. I'll be spending my time primarily at the bottom in Whistler Village and at the place we'll be staying, which is right next to a lake, with canoes and even a rowboat. Also, there are four private tennis courts and a swimming pool.
There's always snow up on the mountain, but I think that the ski season is over now.
You're welcome to come along, although I think it might be a tad pricey. The overseas return airfare alone would put me in debt.

Oh god, don't talk to me about debt. I don't think I'll even be able to afford to save up for a cheapo european out-of-season package trip we were planning for the end of summer. I am so broke at the moment - getting to the point where I either have to win the National Lottery or rob a convenience store.

Why don't you rob the National Lottery?
I've almost got this e-mail problem of mine solved. I just have to spend another 30-40 minutes on hold with Telus customer support and then they might deem me worthy of speaking to.

Or I could lot the national robbery.
Oh no, that just doesn't make sense.
Easter Quiz...
Nick O`Teen Posted Jun 13, 2000
Well, it does kind of make sense, in a sort of non-sensical way.

Totally off the subject - but because you know everything, you techie GOD - do you know what the changes in GuideML have done to links to researchers. I have an old fashioned and it no longer brings the reseracher up in the right hand margin.
Any ideas?
