Amen to that!
I've no idea what day of the week it is. i woke up thinking it was it was thursday, i was so disappointed (we're off on friday ) wishful thinking on my part
its family fact wednesday - tell me an interesting thing about your family, start with the basics - do you have any siblings? I've got two an older sister (Lorna) and a younger brother (mark); and i suffer dreadfully from 'middle child syndrome'
Family Fact Wednesday
Solsbury Posted Nov 7, 2001
I have 3 sisters, no brothers.
2 sisters are older, married with kids. 1 is younger, unmarried, no kids.
I think I suffer from once being the youngest and then having a sister foisted upon me
Thinks for an interesting fact...
...nope.
We're just a plain old boring family.

cool you're a big brother - i always wanted one of them; like gregory from gregory's girl ("bella gordon, bella dorothy - i like to do something special on a saturday night" ... okay its only funny when you do the voice and the actions ... but pure class) after seeing that movie i really wanted an older brother.
interesting family fact - You be the judge - one side of the family (the wainey's) were thrown out of ireland for sheep stealing
i don't know... even surbia has a seething underbelly ...

I am the big brother. I would have liked a big brother but such is the way of the world and I got sisters.
Suburbia always has a seething underbelly
I like the story
The name of one side of my family seems to come from a single place in the UK (warhurst - only one place returned from a streetmap uk search)
Family Fact Wednesday
weegie Posted Nov 7, 2001
aw, I couldn't find the smiley! but the story kinda sums up my family
where's warhurst?
There's a fernie (my surname) mountain in canada - i really want it to be like walton mountain
our family's pretty disfunctional (and proud of it - my mum's been married twice and divorced twice (and several psycho boyfriends... oh the stories i could tell about psycho the diver) my dad's been married twice, although he's still married to edwina currie (my step mum is the spit of edwina currie -
are you going paddling tonight?
Family Fact Wednesday
Solsbury Posted Nov 7, 2001
There is a Warhurst Fold Farm near a place called Broadbottom outside of Manchester. It's the area round there that the family (and name) is supposed to come from.
Tonight will be swimming down the pool with the dive club and then trying to sort out a lift for going away at the weekend.
Family Fact Wednesday
Solsbury Posted Nov 7, 2001
not really. It's an inland place that's a water filled clay pit (used to be a brick plant there). It's not very warm and the visiblity leaves a lot to be desired (but you're qualified for conditions as good as or better than those you train in so it must be good for me )

sounds .... wet and a wee bitty dangerous. i think the only water i'll be coming into contact with this weekend will the hot, bubbly stuff that fills baths!

did you have fun last night?
goodness, its been a day! hope yours is busy, productive and bright
i'm off tomorrow (a lazy day in my bed, listening mark n lard, i think) so have a beautiful weekend and enjoy yourself down that hole
Family Fact Wednesday
Solsbury Posted Nov 8, 2001
It was OK. I did sort out a lift for going away tomorrow evening. Then I got soaked walking to the tube station from the pub - it was totally lashing it down.
It has been a busy day, some might call it productive even.
Aren't you the lucky ******! I'd love a day off tomorrow.

if its not too forward - i'll think about you when i'm lying in bed tomorrow doing nothing
i've kinda had a good day, got told i was being groomed for greatness and i can expect a pay rise soon!
bummer about the rain - but i guess you're going to be wet all weekend? (i really must apologise, i've come over all frankie howard ... sorry )
Family Fact Wednesday
Solsbury Posted Nov 8, 2001
No, not too forward
I have been told that my motivation has markedly improved since I got the dressing down a couple of weeks back. how nice.
I hope to be wet on the inside this weekend - one of the guys coming up has a birthday As I'll be playing around in a drysuit, I hope not to get wet on the outside!
Other than that things are going fine, well bar the high blood sugar readings I've had today. All after over treating a hypo on the way in as well. Is this the shape of things to come

Thanks for the Been feeling a bit rough today because of it.
I'll stay safe and wet in the right way A fun time is sure to be had.
You up to much or is it a quiet one this weekend?

hi ya kitten, how was your weekend? did you enjoy getting wet down your hole and
mine was full of rugrats both the cartoon and the actual little people - babysitting all weekend - a five and a nine year old.
- you got a dressing down at work? funny, you don't strike me as the bad boy type
Monday, monday. So good to me.
Solsbury Posted Nov 12, 2001
Morning W****E.
The weekend was fun, though I would have liked to have got another dive or two in - far to much faffing around and changing of plans for that though (and I wasn't feeling too hot on sunday morning).
The drysuit stayed dry and I was cosy and warm
Little people I get enough of that when I go and see my sisters
I can be the bad boy if someone asks nicely enough. It is more a motivational thing where I can't relly be arsed with the job
Monday, monday. So good to me.
weegie Posted Nov 12, 2001
you sound chirpy - must have been a good one! sorry to hear you weren't so hot on sunday - nothing serious?
a dry, cosy and warm dry suit? (is there a difference between that and a wet suit?)manna from heaven for a diver
the ankle bitters were little cherubs, not honestly they were very well behaved. I don't know any children, so it was a bit of an experience for me, still no burning desire to produced any - i couldn't hear the old biological clock ticking. kids are great when you can hand them back after a couple of hours!
so you don't see yourself with a career in IT in 5 years time? what do you want to do? and why aren't you doing it?
mmmm.... need encouragement to be bad? i must remember that when we meet
Monday, monday. So good to me.
Solsbury Posted Nov 12, 2001
I felt better about not being here (work/london) over the weekend.
The difference between a dry suit and a wetsuit is that you stay dry in a drysuit and you get wet in a wetsuit. Staying warm is easier if you're dry in the water (some people were in wetsuits and they got very cold).
Those are the kinds of kids I like as well
What do I want to do. If I knew that I'd be trying to do it
