HiScribbo,
Not at all my sweet, I think this site went off the air for about 15 minutes, I'd just written an answer and posted it - I thought - and everything froze. I fiddled for a bit and then tried other sites - everything worked. Eventually I shut my gear down and restarted and still nowt. I took a little walk then tried again and hey presto. But my message had disappeared. Wierd or what.
I said, in it, that although what we were doing made me feel a bit electric I was going for it. Send me you mobile number and time to call and we'll see what happens.
Okay - over to you.

Dunno - depends, I suppose. Is it in the directory? What can happen if someone here picks it up and uses it?
If everything went haywire in some way, I suppose you could always change it for another one.
Let's hold fire on this, if you're worried and I'll ask around. There may be another way.
Just read the vicar story and left a comment. Liked it. Was it just a story or is it autobiographical?
Want to be chatting to you one to one.

Bri, look I'm going to put my phone number on as a posting. I'll call it The cell. if you pick it up, please ring my mobile and then I'll remove it as if it was being withdrawn for rewriting. Are you ready. I dont want it hanging around for ages. Yes or no?
?
Scribbler Posted Dec 1, 2004
If you call it immediately, I'll know that you've got it and got it correctly. And then remove it immediately. I'll speak to you if you call it if I'm able to, ok. But if I just say hello and ring off you know its not convenient! Gosh this is exciting!

Bri. Problem. I cant get through on my cell phone as it's not geared for international calls! Will you call me? What time? I'll make sure that I'm out of hearing of anyone else. Sorry it was too difficult to speak earlier. I had my teeth clenched I was so nervous!

Hi Scribbo,
What a great experience that was! You've suddenly become 2-dimensional. Three would be better but musn't be greedy.
Just heard some lousy news - BBC are closing down the site next April. Can't believe it.
The folks are all up in arms about it - talking about marching on Head Office or writing petitions. Wonder what Tony Blair would do if we asked him?
I think if enough people show how devoted they are to this site then maybe it could survive. It's a great talent pool for them, and all they have to do is pay Jamie and a few others to keep it buzzing. And anyway, they're a public service after all. I dunno - is this what good old Blighty is coming to. Glad I upped wicket and moved.
Talk to you soon"

Hi Sribbo,
You were asking me about the first poem I every wrote. It's somewhere on site but to make it easy for you I've taken it off Word and here it is.
Promise
Your quick smile can touch me
when no one else’s may.
Your soft silence touches me
more than I dare say.
Your bright gaze sets alight
the touch-paper of my delight;
sets me longing
for your shy touch,
your bold, entwining,
forever shining kisses.
I promise you,
if ever our love’s lost,
I’ll not regret,
nor soon forget,
your slow, blinding,
soul-binding kisses.
Let me know what you think when you've had a chance to thaw out!

Hi, Just got in and it's okay I have thawed out on the way home. Thank god for swedish technology! that car turns into an oven in ten minutes flat. That was just great fun and I'm looking forward to a repeat in the near future! Now you know! Do you want to chat some more or are you off to bed? Can I read this poem later and tell you about it then? Scribs x

Oh. I've had time to read it now. It's lovely. Really lovely. See you write great poems to the women in your life!

Okay, I'll try and write one specially for and about you. But for the reasons I've explained it may not be very successful. In which case I wouldn't let you see it.
Really enjoyed this evening. Don't think I'm going to be able to sleep much tonight.
See what you 're doing to me. Naughty girl.
But I wouldn't hae it any other way.
