I did answer 108 - read 109. I'm behaving in just the same way. We should both know better, but this isn't about knowing - it's about feeling.

Scribbler Posted Nov 30, 2004
Ah. Sorry. Didnt realise that WAS the answer. I thought I was just being warned not to overstep the mark with what I was saying! Do you think that we know the 'real' each other, because we have to rely on what we say, rather than what we see? I pondered on this the other day, but I couldnt decide!

What's the difference between talking and writing. If you're perceptive you can just as easily detect sincerity and truth on the page as you can when you hear it. It's probably easier, in fact, because you haven't the distraction of a pretty face or a suductive voice to throw your judgment.
But of course looks and prescence are also part of what we are - a vital part - so if you want to know someone completely (if that is ever a possibility) then you need all the clues.
Agree?
Must throw a couple of xx you way at this juncture

Will do mu lovely but remember Wednesdays and Thursdays I'm very busy in town. It'll probably be late afternoon or evening.
Sleep tight. xx

It's 2.35 and I cant get you out of my head! I've had to sneak out of bed and this damned house has squeaky floorboards and how come the keypad sounds loud in the early hours - but I cant sleep after all that's been said between us yesterday. And I had that dream again. It's like sleeping with a ghost. Are you sure this isnt thought transference or something - do you 'think' of cuddling me at night? What are you doing to me? Why do I have this strange feeling that I belong to you?
There, you'll know I'm a nutcase now. Going to make a cup of tea and get back into bed. Talk later today! xxxxxxx

Hi Scribbo,
Just grabbing a few minutes before going into town. I read the message above when I woke up an hour and a half ago. Phew - Scribbo you're quite a gal.
Not sure I'm going to be able to concentrate on my students today, mind galloping elsewhere. Don't feel free to really say what I'm relly feeling. Nor should you, y'know.
Wouldn't mind betting we have a discreet little "audience" of about 50 eavesdroppers in the wings. True or not - I can't believe otherwise.
Must rush. Talk to you later today.

Bri. you crack me up sometimes! Why would anyone else be interested in what we're doing? Haven't they got lives of their own? If not, they should go out and get one! Yeah I'm aware that people can and maybe do read this, well so what, it's a mini soap opera if they're that sad, let them read it. We've hardly having it away on here are we? Or is that the next plot? Talk later. xxx

Scribbler Posted Dec 1, 2004
Oh Hi Bri. Didnt expect to find you on here at the moment. Thought you were busy. Only got a minute myself, just had a quick look on here for a catch up while I drink yet another coffee! Gotta go in a minute. Will we talk later? xxxx

Scribbler Posted Dec 1, 2004
Ok. shortly then. D wants to get on here, but has promised to push off downstairs and plug his laptop down there in a minute!
?
Scribbler Posted Dec 1, 2004
I seriously thought I'd have to kill him. He was working but his mobile kept ringing and stopping him. I tried everything to get him to move along a bit, but it's no good when he's in his work mode! Now its 5pm everyone's left the office so he cant contact them. Hurrah. Now how are you today?
?
Bribrow Posted Dec 1, 2004
Great thanks. Had a splendid lesson followed by coffee with half a dozen frogs all speaking English. Went on for four hours! So I'm feeling a bit knackered now.
Sorry to hear you're having problems. Sharing anything is a pain - sharing a computer must be hell. I was thinking how good it would be if we could talk on the phone. Problem is, although what you say is private, when the bill comes in, nothing can be hidden. What a life.
Missed you today.

Ok. We actually dont have to share a computer, but he's being awkward and insists on using his laptop in the study where the main computer sits. My son has a computer in his room but its not linked to the net. D only hogs the study because he likes to make life hard for me. It's a power thing. I get sick of his mind games too. However I did ask him to put me on an email that I can guard with a password and he looked at me very suspiciiously, but I cant think why and I said that I had a girlfriend who was having some serious problems and I was worried that Tom, my son, would read it. I said that now that he was older, I'd like my stuff private so D said fair enough and he'll sort it out!
I laughed at your comment about people reading what we write - if they want to let them. How sad to read other peoples stuff! Perhaps we're the most exciting thing that has happened in their life for a long time! You're the most exciting thing that has happened in mine, anyway.
I could always ring you from my cell phone. It would be lovely to speak to you sometime, but a bit pricey I think!
I'm also having grief from my pals over this. They're saying if I want an affair why dont I just go out and find someone - but I keep trying to explain that I didnt set out to have an affair. I just need to escape from D and have some self worth. They're just jealous 'cos I look so good at the moment! I know it. Did you read my bit about the vicar. I do have lots of fun with my life, pity about D being in it still. he can be ok, but that's about it. We've got some snooty do to go to next weekend and I'm dreading it. I hate having to get tarted up and then go off with him, looking posh. I usually flirt with someone's husband and come home with someone's bowtie! Sorry, I'm so glad to be able to speak to you at long last. I missed you too xxxx

Scribbler Posted Dec 1, 2004
Ok whose phone number then? My cell phone or your landline? Maybe this is one of the 'leaps of faith' I mentioned yesterday
?
Scribbler Posted Dec 1, 2004
Oh see you've gone off somewhere again. You're right we cant go on like this. Catch up with me later and sort out numbers and I'll call you!
?
Bribrow Posted Dec 1, 2004
Hi Scribbo,
Are you serious about phoning me, or me phoning you, which would probably make more sense?
You devil, you.
But if you want to, fine. Let's do it.

Sorry. Was having a gossip to Sarah on phone. I must speak to her daily! Well if you phone me it will have to be on my cell phone, but at least I can take it somewhere private if you do call! And provided you leave your number on my cell I'll always have it and give you a call if I'm able. I dont really care too much about what shows up on the phone bill. I usually get my hands on them first anyway, so I can always rip them up! So where do we go from here? Did you read my bit about the vicar!!!
