life of vectusian
I live in new zealand and have done so for the last 40 years.
I was born a caukhead (isle of wight born)and am very proud
of it. While i'm also very sad because I cannot find the music
for the songs of the country folk that once echoed through rhe
villages at harvest time. and at any other occasion. So far I have
found referance to the words of some in W.H.Longs Dictionary
of the isle of wight dialect and in the songs of the soil
but while I have the words I do not have the music.
You see I want to try and revive so of the old songs and spoken
word
