I just noticed your latest tagline after your name - dead but dreaming. Curious if you're going through a Lovecraft or Cthulhu phase. Sounds a little like:

"That is not dead which sleeping lies,
and with strange aeons, even death may die."

Sometimes translated differently, so maybe it has been recorded as "dead which dreaming lies" in some places. Not actually translated, but fictitiously written in Arabic and fictitiously translated in variations. Hope you know what I'm talking about, because it's getting too silly for me to explain.

No, not really a phase, though I am interested in both all the time. So I knoiw what you are on about.

I just took it from the title of first track of the Fields of the Nephilim album Elizium.
Only realised later that it also describes my current situaltion life-wise rather well. Dead to a number of things (incl h2 to a certain extend) but dreaming of all the things to come once I'm through with the exams in November 04 and May 05.

Thinking of it ... could be that Fields took it from Lovecraft ... those Gorth bands are wont to do so.

Excellent, a name for me to look up on Kazaa. I think I've heard the name Fields of the Nephilim before, but haven't heard their music.

Oh, good choice. If you like Sisters of Mercy, you'll like Fields of the Nephilim. Do not confuse them with "Nefilim" which is a side project of the bass (?) guy and very fast-metal-ish (not bad, though). I suggest anything from Elizium or Relevations albums. didn't like their reunion stuff ("One more Nightmare", IIRC).

I found them ages ago when I was looking for something "darker" than Sisters of Mercy.
