Hiya Potentate Irving, Saffire et al.
Thought I'd drop by to say hi in a non Righteous Knights context.
Read all the posts and...
Waiting for Godot - one of my faves, hence "Vladimir". I also used an Ionesco quote for one of my essays on it at achool.
Tin Drum - also well worth reading, or see the film! It's been dubbed into English now and Guenter Grass has just received the uhhhhh... big...ahhhhh Literary prize that I can't remember the name of right now.
Alsowould recommend Doktor Glas by Hjalmar Soederberg, but it's in Swedish and I don't think it's been translated yet...
I sense a job coming on!

Good to have you, Vlad. (but hush, no one around here knows of my "Secret Identity"). Sorry that I've not been too responsive for a day or so, all, I've got these four essays due this morning and I've just now finished them. So sleep for the lazy...

Saffire, if you have not viewed the Monty Python tape "And now for something completely different", you should. Not only will it explain the nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat comment, but it will also teach you "how not to be seen" and show you what a man with a tape recorder up his nose looks like (and sounds like).

I think his name is Maurice. Mo Mo for short.

I 'think', yes. It's the family's dog, the family is in Phoenix, I'm at college in Tucson, and the dog still lives in California becaue he's too young to leave home. Today my mom suggested "Calvin", but my dad and my brother are in Mexico so they haven't had a chance to discuss the name "Calvin" yet. I don't like Calvin all that much but then I won't be the one who uses the name most often. My dad and my brother have been reffering to him as "Little Mo" or "Mo Mo" for weeks now, so I 'think' that they're going with Maurice which will be abbrevieated to "Mo mo". I 'think'.
