Watching me....
From across the room, I spied myself.
Wearing blue jeans and a white teeshirt splashed with some graffiti logo or another.
Underneath the new growth on chin and cheek, I see a lad of some twenty four years, dusted in the muck from nine thousand rotations about the sun.
Tapping me on the shoulder, I turned and greeted this reflection of mine, with a smile and an idea...We could better our stance, exploring chance combinations of the stars and the shipping lanes to expand our brain!
I agreed, and we continued to speak.
Under the eves of a South East London flat we sat staring into mirrors, and I wondered why this other Pete seemed to flicker with some internal light.
I believe we are all part of some larger system, he answered to my unworded accusation. And the world seemed beautiful.
