Daria Girls
Daria Girls... Where to start? Geeky, thoughtful Earth girls recently have found a new role model, or a new (nonexistantant) person for others to compare them to. Yes, Daria Morgandorfer, fictional cartoon character created by MTV for the youth audience. "B", is a good, if slightly tragic example of one of those Daria girls who sympathise with the character so much that it becomes idolisation. She surrounds herself with images of the character and can quote every line of the show. But there are other Daria girls. They wore army boots, glasses and green jumpers before Daria ever did. They used irony before Daria tought the other nerdy girls how to. Now any brainy social observation can be answered with "Yes, Daria!" This is at first grudgingly taken as flattering but the involetary Daria girl soon gets rather annoyed. As this group represents some of Earths brightest young somethings, do not under any circumstances ignore this phenomenon. These "Daria Girls" will have their revenge...Conversations
