DON'T PANIC
Caught in the ebbing flow of the sands of time I find myself drowning infront of a cheery computer screen. Which is in turn attached to a keyboard and a hard drive which finds its self sitting on a desk perfectly happy to do exactly the opposite, and then some, of what it was intended to do.
A number of months ago I found this site after reading a copy of the only good book that I could find in a rather large grocery store called "The Salmon of Doubt". Intrigued I set the site to my favorites and proceeded in ignoring it, which worked grandly, until now.
My well founded hate for computers was overwhelmed by my love for The Guide and the possibility of writing for it. So here I find myself hammering furiously at the keys with my two index fingers trying to make some sense of the jumble of letters on the keyboard.
As I peer out my window I notice the rain is still falling in a somewhat downwards direction as it usually does around this time of year, and most others for that matter. The mild temperate climate in Canada much reflects the temperament of the people. A constant equilibrium that can not be thrown off balance, even by their American Government. Which is probably what their government spends its time and money doing. Not that Im saying Americans are inherently evil, which they are, just that they are like an older sibling who always steal the TV remote and determents what they think you should watch. They even stand at the boarder now with M16's demanding more pieces of ID, tearing apart cars and looking in peoples assess. Honestly though the people are nice its their government that’s really evil.
Now that I find myself sufficiently off topic I shall introduce myself.
Hi! Im the displaced hiker pleased to make your acquaintance.
