Okay here's the idea... You're building a world. A universe, even.* It starts as a single page, the land, with no detail or anything. Nothing. Post in the convos, with ideas and suggestions as to what's there, or what happens, or what has happened. If you say there's a village, I'll make a page for a village. Then you post there and expand the village. You can go into great detail with everything, up to perhaps even where the mouse's hole in the wall of the little kid Narin's bedroom wall in his house in the left side of the village Mayellet next to the old farm...You can also describe people. But you have to build down to there. A single structure would ideally end up with a page for itself, and that'll end up as a huge number of pages, but, then that's the idea! It's all a fantasy, in a mythical, magical world. Think Lord of the Rings, Greek myth, Dungeons and Dragons, computer games, books, anything. But build the world. The world should be built chronologically... no cities until there's at least some description of a town... this is not really a requirement though. Just a suggestion. Also, events will be able to happen later... once the world is described a bit, in depth. And then events might later get a history page. Only reasonable, moderately creative or intelligient ideas will probably be used. Put some thought into names, especially. And try to make everything make sense, and sort of fit together. Perhaps the farmer has developed a habit of going to talk to the blacksmith every Sodit morning, or perhaps the high wizard of the kingdom sometimes goes to magic schools to check out how things are going. |
