I saw the doctor again today and got clearance to return to a 'normal' w*rkload, but he included in the certificate a statement to the effect that I am still not able to take on extra tasks or to do long days. This means I have every right to decline tasks from time to time.

Soon after that I discovered that there wasn't any bacon in the house. I'd eaten it the other day and forgotten. Oh well.

I had a pack in the freezer, but in my local supermarket there was a 4 pack offer I couldn't refuseso 3 in freezer and one - down't neck

There's all sorts of good things in my freezer but none of them are bacon. I'll have to fix that later.

Usually because I've already eaten it. This is a good enough reason for doing a bit of shopping every second day.

I keep saying to myself, I'll let the freezer deplete in food stocks for a while. But! once in the supermarketmm! haven't had THAT for ages - into basketsod use by date, some stuff in it could have been there since the millennium

Don't call it a freezer, call it a time capsule and enter it in the Turner Prize.
