Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 29, 2005
It's freezing here today. I'm thinking about re-starting the heater; I switched off the pilot light at the end of September.

I have had the air con on all day, and last night we put it on before bed, as it was really humid
these cold and flu tabs are wooooooonnnnnnddddeeerful, I am flyin
good thing I didn't take em till I got home at lunch time
I got some good bargins, the shop I wanted to get most of the stuff from, had a one day 15% off everything, including a further 15% off stuff already on sale (woohoo) I got 9 things which would have been well over $100 for less then $60, bless my stingy capricorn heart, and my procrastination
got to go, hubbly home soon and he wants to take me to the hardware store.......he is such a romantic
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 29, 2005
Oooh, hardware.....
Was it fun?
Which pills are you on - codral? They're lovely things.

Incidentally, CL-F looks like it's having some sort of spasm - 'page not found' and things like that.
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 29, 2005
ahhhhhhhhh not just me will try again later
um chemists brand cold and flu + strong pain killers, worked a treat
bought 2 electrical leads for hubbly, and changed our minds again on the tiles for the bathroom floor
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 29, 2005
What colour tiles?
And the spasms seem intermittent. I'm back in now, but I'll be offline quite soon so it hardly matters.
Hey Ivan

got back long enough to send a coaster, Jarrah hasn't recieved her points from friday, but all gone borked again, but can get here easily enough, odd as my speed is coming in at 1.11 Mbps, I have 1.5Mbps down and 256 up so 1.1 isn't bad for this time of day
we have gone from a bluish, to a more greyish, I have chosen a really pale blue for the walls and the feature line of tiles are grey/blue dolphins, so trying to match everything to that, oh the fun<biggrin. we shouldn't go to bunnings so often
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 29, 2005
Pale blue with grey will be nice - very relaxing and all that. That Bunnings is a dangerous place -I'll have to go there soon, but I'm going to get someone to go with me and restrain me.
I wonder if the fact that my intro thread doesn't appear on my personal list of recent threads is linked to the server problems. Maybe Travey hasn't paid his bills or something.
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 29, 2005
mmmmmm might be a quirk of the site.........mine didn't show up either
ahhhh busy day, the hair cut that I put off yesterday, then I have to to colour it, then my boss is shouting us lunch, at a place called funky food,
still feeeling like crap, but I have my pills
ooohhhhhhh bunnings be still my beating heart........mitre 10 are building a really big warehouse, almost next door to bunnings.......and they are going to be airconditioned..........3 hardware stores almost next door to each other.............
hopt you are feeling better today
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 29, 2005
Three hardware stores? Gosh. You'll need a laptop with a wireless connection 'cos you'll never be home.
What colour hair? Not blue I trust. Do they have hair products at Bunnings?
I appear to be in a silly mood today. Perhaps I should just go with the flow.
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 29, 2005
not blue, but bright ruby red, my usual
silly is good
I bought two dvd/cd burners/players over night, on ebay
at least both are under $100 (including postage)
there are times when I shouldn't go to
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 29, 2005
Do you need two as such, or did you just get carried away?
I think I should probably be carried away, to some place where someone can look after me. There's a sudden pain in my head, and I'm not enjoying it much. I'd go back to bed, except that it'll disturb my sleep patterns even further...
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 29, 2005
wellllllllllll, we don't really need two, but, it will make things easier, having two, if that makes sense
I knew I had one before I went to bed, and sort of hoped to lose the other overnight, but there were no further bids, so I got it, I rather enjoy buying stuff on ebay, even with the postage, both of these burners are cheaper, than what I could have got here in town, odd
not going to w*rk today? probably for the best, stay up for a bit longer, then have a short nap......naps are good, and don't count as sleep proper
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 29, 2005
I'm back at w*rk tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm trying to fix this insomnia business. The said to avoid naps, and only to go to bed when completely dog-tired. Let's see if I can manage that.
Hey Ivan
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 29, 2005
I know exactly which nursie I'd like - he was hanging around when I was in the emergency room last year.
Hey Ivan
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Nov 29, 2005

sorry if you found the CL-F down today, Travey did a major code upgrade as per his agreement with simon wright (the bloke he "stole" the coding for CL-F off (whirlpool)), it seems it had a few bugs, and took him all day to fix, but all be back to normal now
hope your bookfest and thai went well
