WanderingAlbatross - Wing-tipping down the rollers of life's ocean. Started conversation Jun 24, 2004
Morning Websailor,
Any news of John et al in Rome? No response fron Brian Viner but he usually replies. Got an auto response from the UN asking them for help to publicise the Save the Albatross Petition and that John was presenting it today or tomorrow.
Travel hopefully...

Haven't heard anything yet. I have a Google Alert set up to pick up any news of Save the Albatross. Perhaps I should do likewise for John Ridgway and the UN meeting.
Nothing on national news. I think the timing of the presentation of the petition (unavoidable, I know) could have been better. Euro 2004 seems to take precedence over all other news

I was looking at the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation site and it doesn't seem to be the biggest of the UN's agencies. Still I would assume that Dr Euan Dunn knows his stuff when it comes to lobbying.

"I trust John in bringing the petition to the right person.
However compared to the other business of the United Nations this whole event is probably no news.
Anyway I trust John will inform us in time."
