Allow me to introduce myself. My Name is Spynxxx (actually it's Brad )and I am proud to call myself a miner for The UnderGuide. As it happens I also have another title, Deputy Campaign Director for Hypatia for President.

It is under that heading that I come to you today, seeking your support as well as your vote. You may have seen some of the goings on in various threads and like some only thought it another wacky role playing game, a goof, a lark to while away the days.

Let me assure you, there is nothing farther from the truth. This is a real election, with a true democratic vote to elect the next President of h2g2 and we of the Ozark Party are quite serious about it.

If you could, please take a moment to view the Ozark Party Platform located at A1341109. This should leave no doubts as to our mission, and that is a mission with only the best interests of this site and it's researchers at heart.

Not all the cadidates are as serious about this, and frankly that is a shame. There is real progress to be made on varied fronts by a strong and caring leadership, one with the same goals as you and I hold dear. And it because of this that I ask you to pledge your support for as a group we have the power to change the world.

An update on the political front for you. Official voting has now begun and will run till October 8th.

Balloting is to be conducted via email and the information as to how and where can be found at A5889261.

As this is to be an instant runoff system there are many possibilities available. You may vote on as many candidates as you wish, the order of preference to be by number (#1, #2, #3 etc...)or you may choose just a single vote.

I ask that you please consider Hypatia for the #1 slot on your ballot. Thank you once again for your time and consideration in this most important matter.
