Through some technical difficulties which could not be resolved Nigel has had to re-registerer under the name Helleborus:

His Friends List cannot be transferred automatically and he needs to ask everyone again to be his Friend

This is a bit of a laborious process, so could those of you who are registered as Friends (most of you are on my list too) please drop in on him, add him to your list and give the for him to put you back on his list ..... please?

His articles in now carry the name Helleborus and his old moniker youngsuper_Nigel to avoid confusion.

I wonder if you have any ideas for autumn/winter flowers/bulbs/ ?
Psnsies as weelll I think.
I would like to get some chranths growing in pots for the balcony. But beyond that and daffies I camnot think. I wonder if you have any bright ideaa.

I have had the most marvellous show with petunias, pelargoniums, lobelia cardinalis, impatiens, daisies, and some flowerws which \i forget.

I would be grateful fo any suggestions which you can offer me.

Time is going quickly this year isn't it? I can't believe it will soon be time to plant our autumn/winter plants.

It sounds like you have had a lovely display on your balcony.

You could plant some miniature tulip bulbs in your pots, these should be available to buy very soon. There are also miniature daffodils, one of my favourite varieties is tete-a-tete which are bright and colourful.

You could plant the bulbs, and also put some plants in such as pansies/viola's, these last a long time if dead-headed regularly. Also, something like primroses are colourful but I am not sure if these are available yet.

I would definitely go for tulips and possibly daffodils, tulips come in so many colours and sizes. They are lovely to brighten up dreary winter days.

Websailor was showing me your pictures on Flickr the other day, they are wonderful! I have quite a few photo's to edit and put on my Flickr but I am still looking for the password which I have mislaid . I did the lost password thingy, which emails the password to an email address which had to be closed down a while ago (long story).

I will keep hunting for the password, I am bound to find it somewhere!

Anyway, take care. One day I hope to meet you, probably at a very local hoo-too meet!! You can tell me all your secrets of such brilliant pictures then .
