h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well it has been along time old friend. What is happening with you lately?

I'm still the slacker, unemployed (although I have had some interesting interviews). In fact everyone of them has left me more mystified than the last. When I call back to the potential employer they say there was nothing that I've said or done that stopped me from being hired they just "found someone with better qualifications."

I have interviewed with some world class companies such as Intel and FLIR
and also some governmental entities such as our state lottery comission. Nothing, no offers, and I am far beyond my limited unemployment benefits.
I am living off of the benificence of my parents estate, with all that implies.

I fight off depression and inertia, and go through the cycles of excitement (when interviews come around) and back to depression when I get turned down. Its all hilarious if it wasn't so real.
