...Just A Bit... 'Speshul'...
General Kinda Stuff...
Well, I'm a 14 year old girl who's not had much of a life so far, is becoming socially retarded and is now totally failing at school.
As of late, well, this meaning during the past 4 years or so, my life has spiraled in on itself. I am to be starting my GCSE's in September, and am hoping I will be able to cope with Coursework, as in the past year or two I have completely failed to hand in any homework. It has taken me many years to come forward and talk to anyone about this all, though for all the good it's done me, I don't think I should have bothered. My teachers are still not aware of anything being wrong- other than me simply being 'a lazy, stupid kid'.
I Hate...
* Ignorance* War
* Violence
* Abuse
* Demands
* Power
* Money
* Life In General, as it is all unfair- even when you think you've got it good. We just have to learn to live with it, because, mostly, there is nothing we can do.
Now for the more normal stuff...
* Spiders
* Fire/Flames
* PANIC-ATTACKS...and the things that cause them :(
* My Father. Also My Mother. Though I think it's best I don't go there.
Things I Love...(Or Have A Mere...Passion For...)
* Comedy
~~* Comedy is, effectively, my life and has been for many years, it's kept me going when times have been rough, and in a very weird way, has stopped me from...tipping over the edge.
~~* The Mighty Boosh
~~* The League Of Gentlemen
~~* Green Wing
~~* And Many Others That I Really Cannot Be Bothered To Put In ^_^
* Robots In Disguise
~~* This being the little-known band: Sue Denim And Dee Plume These ladies are electro-pioneers and deserve fame and a hell of a lot more recognition than they currenlty have in the U.K.
~~* They have an amazing style which only they could ever pull off :P
* Feminism.
~~* Maybe I should have titled it differently. I think what I really mean is philosophy, but feminism is my main focus.
~~* My friends do not give feminists a chance. I would like that to change, but they seem to be narrow-minded and fairly incapable of listening to my points
~~* I'm not about to launch into an essay about feminism, BUT, I would just like to say that I agree mostly with what feminists stand for, though extremists I am against. As I think taking "hu*man*" etc. as offensive...is generally pointless.
* Art
~~* I've always been a...'drawer' :p it's something I've enjoyed doing since I was small, and I have a fairly artistic family, as my half sister and our gran are artists, and my Mother has the talent for it.
~~* I tend to draw people, as I have no imagination and very little talent.
People...
* Many of these people have inspired me and have kind of made me who I am (A sadistic 14 year old child with no hope for a future ;) )
~~* Noel Fielding. One half of The Mighty Boosh. This man has an amazing style, his stand-up stuff is both surreal and hilarious. He also seems to be the only man in comedy (or anywhere else for hat matter!) who understands, or TRIES to understand how ahrd it is for women in comedy. He has given me hope.
~~* The League Of Gentlemen. These Men in general have been like the back-bone for my life. When I was small, maybe about 7 years old or so, maybe younger, I can't remember...uhm, I remember listening to their radio series 'On The Town With The League Of Gentlemen' and understanding the 'jokes' etc. and knowing I shouldn't. As they progressed through the years, and through their 3 TV series, I have stuck with them and have been....inspired...by their sheer determination and strength. They deserve as much, if MORE, recognition than Little Britain. LoG's material doesn't grow old, and isn't repeated to death as LB's is. But I won't go into a full-scale rant right now ;)
~~* Sue Denim, of Robots In Disguise. This lady, along with Dee Plume, has created some of the most up-lifting music I have ever heard, since I seem to have had a....what I'd call....a sense of humour failure...i.e. knowing things are funny, but not having the energy to laugh at them... uhm, yes, since that, teh Robot's music has helped me pull through.
"The oppressed have to keep speaking up! :) Feminists prior to now worked so hard and achieved so much and yet there is still not equality, although we have it good in this part of the world in comparison to women in other places. But even over here I think sexism is still accepted by many, and ignored by many others. Maybe it's too frightening to imagine real change."
^^^Sue also fights for women's rights, and seems to understand it all much more than anyone I know...apart from Caz, who is teh awesome ^_^
~~* Caz. Although I don't, technically speaking, 'know' her...she has been a great friend, and partner in Comedy ;)
I think there is far more that I feel should be put on here, but I've taken up too much of your precious time already ;)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
