Thanks you for letting me know, but St john Ambulance have asked 2 of our team to come on and add a few points about First Aid.
We feel that not enough people are up to date with First Aid, as you'll already know, it has changed over the years and we have new bandages and other new supplies, so if it is ok with you, I will post a few things about First aid.
There is also another Paramedic by the name of MickeyMouse2.
He is my work mate, and as I said, St John Ambulance have asked two paramedic to come on.
Well I will thank you anyway and wish you well.

Hi Liam;
Please understand that this is a world wide site and users from all around the world visit here regularly. People of all ages and backgrounds. None of us has any idea who the others may be, or their qualifications on any subject. It is only natural that when several posts on a single subject claiming to be from the same authoritative group are posted it is only logical to assume they are together. I live in the US and have never even heard of St. Johns until these postings started.
I do not intend to contact the UK for conformation of anyone's credentials. My main concern is that people not be constantly subjected to messages with misleading names on the same subject. Secondly I am concerned with people giving medical advice to complete strangers with no idea of the qualifications of either the giver or receiver to understand them. My wife has spent her entire working career as a nurse, and I may get a bit upset with some kid with a 20 or 30 hour course presuming to speak as an expert on that subject.
The proper way to approach this subject is to write an entry, according to the BBC's writing guidelines, and place it in the Peer Review section. Here other users from around the world can read it and add their comments for or against all the points in the entry. This helps assure that true factual advice is given, although it is always up to the author what to accept and dismiss in these replies. It is only proper to address those comments you disagree with in the thread and tell us why. All of us can (and do) learn from others on this site.
I hope you understand that I would not spend this much time and effort replying to your message if I did not hope that you will consider what I have said and help make this site even better than when you found it.
I would hope that the other users you mentioned could do the same with a little guidance.

It’s turning out to be quit a saga is it not,
You have to admire his brass thought don’t you.
Sticks like a limpet he does.

Yes, but he makes the same mistakes over and over - so easy to spot if you know what to look for - and is going to find it really hard to be accepted by the community after this weekend.
I'm certain that Flicker is genuine and his Mum btw - but I think he must have coded her page.
I see MickeyMouse has a newbie welcome page already A2252963 - amazing!
It makes a change from compiling wordsearches and editing poems anyway. I'd forgotten what a buzz you can get being an investigative reporter!

Yep he will get better as he gets more practise, and he is still young (bounce well the young) they do.
Yep to Flicker to.
Looking to set him self up as a leader if you ask me,
Do I sense a little humdrum at the post, I wish I was good at words; I can get by verbally in a few languages, but can’t write for toffees.

At least that is comparitively clean compared to how some of the others have been labelled! Tube wrote a great piece about abused smilies and some of those were verging on indecent.
The Post is going great guns. Twas me who was unwell - and internetless for a while toboot! We are coming up to our 200th edition in February.
