Glad 2 hear u had a good day. I had not so good day, choked with the flu @ the moment. Seems to be doin its round.....lmao..... Think The Xand Man is passin it round over h2g2, he had it 1st, now a load of us has got it....lmao.....

Aww luv, those flu's can be nasty! Hope you're better soon. I just posted a message volunteering my services/offerin' to greet the new members (or newbies as we affectionately call 'em.) And they recruit a new group every few months, so an ACE gets in touch with you & has you write some sample welcomin' notes (& shows youu how to include those links.)

Do u have to know about guide ml n stuff? Coz i would like to become an ace, but when it comes to guide ml, i aint gotta a clue, i gote my m8s to do my page 4 me. I just alter it from time to time.

No, you don't Angie luv! I haven't got a clue either. All you need to do is be friendly (& I think you're doin' ok there ) & give the newbies some directions...sometimes you can make some good friends online that way.

Just make a posting on your page saying that you'd like to be an ACE, & the people at the BBC (the ones that look after this site) will read it & let an ACE know. Then that person contacts you & shows you how to make the links & all. Do you think you could greet a stranger & kinda show them around a bit?

I think so. I'm online enough, i suppose i'd get better as i went along, I can do friendly as u can see. Showing about the place, well it really depends on if i know where the places to look are, but i'm sure that if i was unsure about anythin other aces would answer any questions i had & showed my the ropes n stuff. So all i do is post a msg on my page asking to become an ace. then they'll either say yes or hell no.....lmao...sounds straight 4ward.

In discuaa this entry luv, but they don't tell you right away, they kind of want to see how you'd write a greeting & they'll help you out...then, when they are actually recruitin' ACEs, they'll let you know if you made it.

It's easy enough to make links Angie, just type a capital 'A' & the 5 or 6 digit number (withhout a space)...like these; A534953 , A719840 , or A155909 .

typos *rolls eyes*

Or for a User number, like your ID number here, just type a capital U & the number on your page (or on sonebody else's - like mine is 202717...so U202717 .)
