Nope. I didn't know I'd nodded off until I woke up. Don't think anyone came in, I would have heard, our door needs oiling and squeaks, also as it s a protected door, in case of fire, sound proofing etc. it shuts with a solid thunk.
Recovering from the 83 hour week last week. Had a good rest over weekend. Washing piled yp, but what the heck. It does you good to have a wekend off. I'll do it Thursday.
Dog goes to be shampooed and clipped on Friday. She'll come back looking all fluffy, she always does.My brother's birthday on Sat so he's coming over Sunday for Sunday lunch.
Hi Nats
angelicaheaven Posted Mar 3, 2004

I will pay you for doing it for me if you want.

Ah yes, right.
Just waiting for the next programme to fire off, then I'll pop down to see if the canteen has breakfast on the go. Wonder if I'll get a free one again, that is if they're still feuding At least 04:10.
Doggie loved the snow Sunday. She really does love the snow. Funny little thing. Werll she isn't little, she's a Border Collie and they are not small. Loves a cuddle though.
Hi Nats
angelicaheaven Posted Mar 3, 2004
Well i hope that you do get a free breakie, for i reckon you deserve one the amount of hours that you do.
What time does the next programme go off then?
I remember you telling me that she was a border collie in the old thread that we had, why did you let that go by the way for i miss that one now
Oh our cats hate the snow you should have seen them, they kept on jumping to try and get out of it lol
Oh i will be going now sorry to say, for my eyes feel like they are about to fall off.
So you take care going home

Hi Toni
So you have been pretty busy then hey, i know the feeling lol
Oh i locked 2 girls in the police cells today, they were totally out of it.
I think it was a mixture of drugs aswell as booze, for you should have seen them they hadn't a clue what was going on.
I even chased 3 lads in a stolen car down in scottie road, mind you i don't think that at you know it but it is in Liverpool.
So i guess that we both had a busy night then haven't we, i am dreading the afternoon shift though for i have to do my written work

Sounds an exciting job, and you do get to meet people.
I hate the paperwork side of the job. It's all very well doing the interesting bits, but the paper work bogs everything down. Charles Dickens wrote of the Circumlocation office, and I know just what he meant.
I was chasing the Persians earlier for something they had not supplied and had to ring a Russian gentleman at home. But that's as about cutting edge it gets.
I could not be a police officer. A friend's son is, but it requires a specific type of person. I enjoy doing what I do and get great satisfacion from it. I could never do an office job, or factory job. It would drive me up the wall to do a 9 to 5 Monday to Friday job. You are most likely the same. I could never have dealt with the drug girls.
A friend of mine was a police officer, retired early, but got bored, so got a job as an M.O.D. policeman working in an American Army base.

Hiya Tony
How are you today i hope that i find you we well, and i hope your arm is a little better than it was.
What's a M.O.D by the way?

Hi Nats
The Liquid Warrior (Vescere bracis meis) Posted Mar 4, 2004
Arm very itchy, which means it is healing.
MOD stands for Ministry Of Defence.
How is yourself?
Hi Nats
angelicaheaven Posted Mar 4, 2004
Oh i am glad that it's getting better, and i bet that you are aswell
What do the M.O.D. do then if you don't mind explaining to me, for i am kind of thick in that department
Oh i am not so bad today actually, but i was out shopping earlier and i come over very peculiar
Oh i got a brand new phone today yoohoo
My cousin Alan bought me it from Tesco's in Liverpool city centre.
The make of it is a Samsung, it is very tiny but with a flip lid whatever you call them
How are you yourself besides your arm?
Hi Nats
The Liquid Warrior (Vescere bracis meis) Posted Mar 4, 2004
I'm fine.
Ministry of defence. Speaks for it's self. It is the ministry for defence. The army, navy and RAF. A Ministry of Defence police man polices the camps of forces of foreign powers stationed in this country, like the American base camps.
Last night of three, so I'm looking forward to a rest from work.
You sound as if you've recovered from you bout of illness earlier and I'm pleased to hear of your phone. I am experimenting with another.
Hi Nats
angelicaheaven Posted Mar 4, 2004
Oh i see now it just goes to show that i am thick after all
Yeah i know it's your last night tonight, and it won't be the same with you not being here
I am so made up with the phone, but i haven't got a clue how to use it propely yet.
What is your phone Tony if you don't mind me asking?
Oh i do feel better than i was earlier, and i hope that i don't get it again for i nearly passed out.
Anyway it's time for my beauty sleep, so i will say cheerio for now
Enjoy your rest while you can, and also take care too.

It's not mine at the moment. I have an ordinary nokia 3310, but this is some super duper thing with infra red and bluetooth and God knows what next. It belongs to a friend who has a new one with the film screen and so on he said I could play around with his old phone and if I liked it could have it for a few quid, and I'm thinking of upgrading to it.
Blue tooth means it's hands free. Infra red means I can use in on the PC and send emails on it.
