Good morning, younger fella. I see you about in Charlie's threads and have exchanged a few words with you already. Except in RL, I'm not much of Reverend, I'm more of a Nick.
Right up front, I'll be blasphemous and tell you that I know very few Python sketches. Just a few I fell into in the early, EARLY morning TV before work. They didn't appear on any of our channels (where-ever I happened to be at the time) But I did enjoy them as well as The Life of Brian and, of course, The Quest For The Holy Grail. I still seek exactly the right shrubbery.
Anyway, if you haven't already, take a quick read of my PS intro, it mostly introduces me. Perhaps we can have a chat or two about general, meaniningless stuff or what-ever.
BTW, our friend Lil/Chris told me you made Charlie verrry happy with a gift yesterday. To see or read him in a seriously up-beat mood is great. Your vivacity must have a pretty good effect on him, most times.
Anyway, TTFN

blasphemous you are! Ah but there is no need to worry, by the time I am finished on here you will probably know most of them! And perhaps you will infact have found the true shrubbery so you may no longer need a hawthorn bush, just beware grail lights on your travels. We have a paramount channel you can get through sky here which replys the sketch shows at funny hours as well as the fact that I have the videos somewhere....
Meaningless stuff you say? Ah well I'm good at that certainly, know so much meaningless stuff its unbelievable.

So then, dump a shovel full or two of meaningless life stuff and we'll see if we have anything in common to chat about. Besides the bits about Charlie and his fetish with non-green dogs and
I might even freak you out and throw a or two your way. I AM rather non-judgemental and unpredictable.
, lad

I can see a minor flaw in your plan, Charlie is my life my dear friend. Although I ll have to admit to having a few minor things going on, like say my work at the theatre and my vengeance strike on the girl in the hideous pink dress. Oh and my argument with Kave Theatre (Who supply the technical equipment for the theatre, so in a way that comes under work for the theatre aswell) who refuse to sell us stuff at the same price……. Anyway……… Complications aside have you heard the news? A new terror has descended upon the town, Gangs of old grannies attacking fit young men! Pension days the worst, the get their money then blow it all on ……….wool, and bread and eggs…… theres no stopping them…… (see sketch "Hells Grannies" )

Ahh, atleast I might be relatively safe then. I'm neither young nor particularly fit. I can still run the 1.5 mile in 10 minutes or less if I were fool enough to re-join the military, but that's about it.
How goes your day today? Any particularly fun catastrophes?

Err No actually, seeing as most of the stuff I have to do has been done I haven’t really had to do anything other than look like I’m doing something….. I had to re do the lighting board after the pink wearing girl unplugged it but I had sense enough to write down all the settings before so it didn’t take too long

And you have mastered the talent of looking dreadfully busy, perhaps a touch frustrated, and accomplishing absolutely nothing? It is a fine art.
Salutations, Jack
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Jun 7, 2004
Tis indeed that, so how goes you?

The Reverend Something or Other Posted Jun 7, 2004
A tad frustrating today. Trying to repair some circuit cards that my predecessor "repaired". He was a disaster with a soldering system.
But hey, it's paid and pensionable time, eh?
Dear lady Lil mentioned a lovely gift you gave our friend Charlie, apparently just lit up his day? A lovely gesture, good fellow.

If you paid then its worth the frustration! Money... So useful....
And thankyou, indeed the rumours are true and he was verily cheered

Chris and I both think Charlie is a dear soul and so when she has a happy point from him, she does like to share. She too is an absolute sweet-heart, eh?

Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Jun 7, 2004
He is a dear gentle soul indeed, and yes so is she as far as I can tell

The Reverend Something or Other Posted Jun 7, 2004
I've only known her for a few months but I would already trust her with my deepest secrets or fears. She just has a bottomless heart.
As to you, dear fellow, you have quite a heart and spirit in Charlie as well. I sincerely hope you appreciate it always.

If you have to think long and hard, then you're obviously doing it right. I do congratulate you both, good relationships are hard to find.
Anyway, lunch is done and I've a few things to attend to. Chat again later, friend. Don't electrocute too many hopeful starlets/s, only a few.

Unless, well maybe, umm perhaps, ... would you happen to look anything like a tall rectangular rack of odd electronics equipment?
