h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well I can't really say I've had much of a good week, so far. I spent most of saturday night, and part of sunday morning, consoling a suicidal friend. And I discovered last night that the woman I have a crush on really is 'busy', not just busy.

So I tried watching a movie to cheer myself up, and ten minutes into Schindler's List I realised that was a mistake. So I swapped it for Chicken Run, and ten minutes after /that/ I was weeping freely. There's something wrong with me.

Slept badly, probably due to the wind and the cold, and didn't really want to come in to uni to do my assignment today. But I did, here I am, I haven't actually done any actual work on my actual assignment, yet, but I will any minute now. So far, I've been too busy talking to AL and Tanzen, and I am much cheered up.

how can you cry during chicken run? do you see smoething i dont? what part was it at?

i've never seen schlindlers list. i didnt really want to. i figured it was gonna be sad, and i really dont need to do that to myself. also i've decided not to watch any romance movies anymore. if the endings sad then i cry in sympathy for the coupple that didnt get together in the end. and if its a happy ending then i cry and feel sorry for myself because i cant see any disney ending for me. if you know what i mean.

and i'm sorry you havent had a good week. i'd fix it if i could. but i'm not sure how to, and i've got a few very small problems of my own.... but i hope the next week goes better for you and every other week after this for that matter. but i suppose thats a alot to ask.... good luck on your uni assignment.

Schindler's list is a very beautiful movie, especially at the end. It's all true, but very emotive. If you know anyone who can watch the whole thing and not cry then they're probably a soulless harpy.
I know what you mean about romance movies, I feel the same way.
Why can't you imagine a happy ending for yourself? You seem like a lovely woman; it wouldn't be the first time that someone with low expectations of happiness ends up with a wonderful life.

My week's improving, I hope it'll keep getting better. It should do; it's my birthday today so my parents have invited me over for dinner if I manage to leave uni early enough.

well thank you very much! actually did you know you're the first person to actaully say that to me? its true, so thank you. andi hope you're right. i want a happy ending... or is it really more of a happy beginning, or middle. well anyway i wish one for you too.

i'm gald i'm not the only one who is that way about romance movies. everyone i know thinks im bitter and have problems because of that. but i dont see why you feel that way about romance movies. you seem to be a very nice guy or lovely man... however you want to put it. so i dont see any reason why you shuoldnt have a happy ending as well.

Um... It's that thing which is really hard to describe.... with the whoosh.

If you know what the terms 'Astral projection' and 'the Astral plane' mean, then astral hugs would be kind of hugs across the astral plane... so they're immediate and it doesn't matter how far away the other person really is... um.

ummm... oddly enough i think i kinda understand... if anyone asked me then i'm not sure i could explain it... but i think that i understand
