Over taking and taking over
People don't like being over taken. Ever noticed how hard it is to pass somebody on an open streach of road. You know you are going faster because you did catch up with the slow old poke. But now that you are making a passing move he seems to be going faster. BECAUSE HE IS GOING FASTER. The simple fact is people don't like being passed. Passed up applies too. Whether being passed on the road or passed up for promotion, when you are trying to make that progressive move the slow old coot sudenley finds a bit more energy and it becomes a battle to survive. Naturaly you will pass even if you have to wait for old age to take charge of the old heap. The hardest thing to accept is that we do slow down with age and so do our cars. So,if you don't like being passed then get a new car and/or a new head heart and body. Try to let the fast fool pass graciously, what else can you do, live for ever?Latest Messages
