Well it's happening again...another Hurricane...well this one will most likely kill my power again...maybe my cable again...but that wouldn't matter since I wouldn't have power to watch my cable...currently it's a catagory 3 with sustained winds of around 115 mph...it'll weaken to a cat 1 by the time it reaches me with sustained winds around 90 mph...still plenty enough to uproot trees...anywho...I'll probably have to get off the computer pretty soon...although the eye won't come over us until 8 am our time, sometime around noon GMT...anywho...we bought plywood for our windows for Ivan, which didn't affect us...and after another three or so more hurricanes we may be compelled to actually put it up...

Hi, Super Moo,
Thanks for that. Hope you are OK. Just had an email from friend staying in Indian Ridge, Osceola. Sounds horrendous. They managed to get some shopping in. They were on the last flight into Orlando.
Cyclist crashed into rented parked car causing a lot of damage, garden chairs are floating in swimming pool, now they have a flood alert from nearby Lake Tohopekaliga (?) and a leak in the lounge ceiling Could be a lot worse though.
Alec Trician,
If you get this, hope all is well with you, considering.
Take care all of you.

I dunno who named that lake but they must have been sadistic since they then went and named another lake East whatever-it-is... it hasn't been too bad where we are...the wind is blowing thru our sliding glass door that leads out onto our enclosed porch and it's making spooky sounds...other than that it has just been a lot of wind and rain...I haven't seen any down trees in our area so that's good...we still have power and water...and cable, although we did loose it for about 45 minutes or so...

My friends have moved villa and now have power. They have been without from 1pm Sunday to late Wednesday. They say the devastation is heartbreaking to see. They feel guilty being on holiday. They are none of them in good health and would be unable to muck in and help clear up, which I know they would if they were able. Still I expect Florida needs all the business it can get at the moment.
Hope all is well with everyone.
