Rather slowly, mon ami.

On warm days like today, the bloody server goes down more times than Paris Hilton.

This causes outlook to crash repeatedly and deny me the chance to clear my emails.

bud, last month, upped their lodgings, now its upping again, I can't cover that ammount, so they are learning the values of growing up and the responcability that goes with it

It's gonna be a tough lesson.

I never had that one as I left home at 15 (not to join the circus, alas), but it's going to be an interesting time!!

son 19, he's at college on IT course(hols) and daughter 18, not going back to college, wants work in health and social care (after 2yr course)both have part time jobs, but not big pay as per

I take it your daughter is looking on the NHS website? There's also one called Gateway which is civil service based, but has a lot of Department of Health posts (a lot of our client groups are civil service).

That's assuming you can get on the site. They had a tannoy announcement here that it's a national server problem, apparently...

My next door neighbour has a son who has just finished a Masters in Hull(Environmental something or other). He got a first, but has been unable to find work, so moved back home.

The Job Centre offered him a post for 6 pounds an hour picking up dog poo in the parks. They said the money was good and it's an Environmental posting.

Seriously.

Well, I've done all I can do here without getting a rifle and heading for the roof. Time to go home and hit the shiraz...
